When given the opportunity to describe your experience as it aligns with the requirements of the job, be specific. Don’t feel the need to posture with abstract concepts or philosophies, and don’t spend time describing your approach in broad strokes. Be specific. Explain your day to day – explain the process – cite the software you use – be technical – use real life examples.

Detail will set you apart – interviewers remember specifics, they don’t remember generalities.
